Some plants, such as mosses, liverworts and ferns, do not produce seeds. Instead, they spread by dispersing spores. But even amongst seeding plants, reproduction without seeds is possible. Many plants can reproduce vegetatively by sending out runners or splitting off from bulbs, or swollen stems.
