Otters are naturally playful creatures. Young sea otters chase each other through the waving seaweeds, and turn somersaults in the water. Mother otters sometimes bring their young an injured fish to play with. As the pups take turns to catch their weakened prey, they learn hunting skills that will be vital when they are older.
