What has up to 3,000 teeth?
Hunting sharks have triangular teeth with serrated (jagged) edges like a saw. A shark may have as many as 3,000 teeth in its mouth, arranged in up to 20 rows, but only the teeth on the outer edge of the jaw are actually used for biting. The inner teeth move outward to replace worn or broken teeth, so the shark's working set remain razor-sharp.
