What is the world’s biggest crab?
The Japanese spider crab is the giant of the crab world. Its body measures more than I ft (30 cm) across, and a rowing boat would easily fit between its outstretched claws, which grow up to an astonishing span of Il feet (3.5 m). At the other end of the scale, the tiniest crab is smaller than a pea.
