Teeth are always the clue to what an animal eats. Slicing daggers, like the teeth of Tyrannosaurus, could only belong to a flesh-eater, while a set of flat-topped grinding teeth like those of the duck-billed dinosaurs shows clearly that these animals fed on tough plant food.
