Galahs are from Australia, with pink breast feathers. These pretty birds pair up for life, and return, each year, to the same nest hole in a tree. They feed their chicks on seeds, and change their breeding habits according to desert conditions. If rain has fallen, and there is plenty of food, they raise up to five chicks. In times of drought, they raise only one chick, or none at all.
