The size of the host makes no difference to the size of the flea that attacks it. The biggest flea in Britain is the mole flea, about 1/4 in (6 mm) long (the size of a small fly). The world record is held by an American flea. It was a flea from a mountain beaver, and it was in (8 mm) long.
